As we all know, Ono’s is a walk-up breakfast bar with loads of healthy, delicious ingredients that make up our smoothie bowls. You can grab one of our few sidewalk tables to enjoy a coffee, or take your breakfast to go. Enjoy it at home or on your beach towel, only a few blocks away.
If you’re looking for some great options around town four outdoor dining, we’ve compiled a list of a few of our favorites. Ask for a table outside and savor the fresh air, good company and delectable food.
Here are our top four outdoor options that we want to shout out!
- El Barracuda: beach, just-caught seafood, open-air – what’s not to love? Head down right before sunset and grab a table right on the sand. You can go for a dip and then order a cold brew and grilled fish tacos. You’ll find it where it’s been since 2007 – Playa Camarones.
- Bonito Kitchen, located in Jardines de los Gaviotas on Los Tules, features a lovely open-air patio. That’s where they serve their delicious Asian small plates and hand-crafted cocktails and lemonades. Currently, they have joined up with Ramen Ya to serve hearty and flavorful ramen bowls with homemade noodles.
- El Rio BBQ is just on the edge of town in the neighborhood of Paso Ancho. Located along the picturesque Rio Cuale, this is an entirely open air restaurant famous for its slow, wood-smoke barbeque. Try the ribs or their pulled-pork tacos. You’ll often get there just in time for live music, especially on Friday afternoons. You can even jump in the river and cool off if you bring your suit!
- Verona Seafood and Bar is located in Olas Altas, right in the heart of Vallarta’s Romantic Zone. Check out their sidewalk patio where you can enjoy fresh seafood and organic fruits and vegetables. Traveling with a vegan? No problem, there are options for every diner.
